Sebastian Farmas died during exercise in the smoke chamber. Firefighter’s funeral
The drama took place on March 18. During routine exercises at the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Kielce, 45-year-old fireman Sebastian Farmas from the rescue and firefighting unit from Busko Zdrój fainted during the test in the smoke chamber. Resuscitation began immediately, but the man could not be saved. It is not yet known why this tragedy took place. In similar circumstances, on April 27, 2024, a 39-year-old volunteer fireman died in Ostrów Wielkopolski. The prosecutor’s office recently discontinued the proceedings. It was considered that the man left for natural reasons.

St. fire Sebastian Farmas also lost his life in such a chamber. He was associated with fire protection from 28.12.2006 from the very beginning, i.e. almost 20 years he served in the rescue and fire-fighting unit of the PSP Poviat Headquarters in Busko-Zdrój.
On Saturday, March 22, 2025, a funeral of a prematurely deceased fireman took place. Funeral ceremonies in the church Saint. Mary Magdalene in Dobrowoda was of a state nature. By paying tribute to the deceased colleague, firefighters issued a four -person honorary police station during the Holy Mass at the casket. The fireman was posthumously awarded by the Minister of the Interior and Administration with the Golden Badge « Distinguished for fire protection ».
Late Sebastian in our memory remains as a cordial and smiling man, as well as a good fireman, serving people. We say goodbye to you with great sadness …

Sebastian Farm’s death is a tragedy for his loved ones. His wife and two sons remained here. They must now learn how to live without a beloved husband and father.
