Sebastian Burduja, threatened by a former CNCIR chief
The Minister of Energy, Sebastian Burduja, claimed to have received threats from the former president of the CNCIR Board, Cristinel Sorin Efta. He reproached him that the ministry did not approve the performance bonus. « To choose the dust of you and your family », « to die drowned like your child », « You don’t even know who they put you, » Efta’s Efta wrote.

In this way, the organized criminal group succeeded in delays the budget of the institution with the total amount of 9,699,480.08 lei, coming from 485 public (fictitious) procurement (from the categories: stationery and office, cleanliness and hygiene, building materials, electric accessories and other consumables) ”, says DIICOT prosecutors.
Mr. Efta is upset and threatens me directly because the ministry did not approve the payment of the variable component in 2024 – the performance bonus. This happened for two reasons: because it is an ongoing criminal case, being the criminal acts within the CNCIR, committed during the mandate as president; And because, from the end of 2023, the law prohibits the variable component for members of unclear companies.
It is not the only message of this kind I receive because I make energy orders. As I swore with my hand on the Bible, I am in the service of my country and the Romanians until I close my eyes. I do not deviate from my principles and I do not give in to anyone.
