Searches in a file on illegal alcohol business
The police carried out five searches in Suceava and Maramureș counties, in the case of a man doing illegal alcohol business, IPJ Suceava officials announced on Sunday.
The searches took place after the police officers from the Suceava Economic Crime Investigation Service, with the support of workers from the Campulung Moldovenesc Municipal Police, identified in traffic a utility vehicle carrying 2,000 plastic containers, one liter each, which contained colorless fluid with alcohol, sealed.
‘In the continuation of the specific activities carried out, the police officers have executed 5 home search warrants in the area of Suceava and Maramureș counties, having as object the commission of the crime of any person or the marketing on the territory of Romania of the excisable products subject to marking, without marked or marked. fact prev. of art. 452 paragraph 1 letter. H and sanctioned by art. 452 paragraph 2 letter b of Law no. 227/2015, an occasion on which several goods with probative value were identified and raised, as well as the total quantity of 2,600 pieces of cigarettes of extra community provenance different brands, worth approx. 2,210 lei. Also, the police officers carried out 3 car searches’, IPJ Suceava officials said.
Also, compared to a person, the preventive measure of detention for 24 hours was ordered.
Alcohol – worth 80,000 lei – was raised by police. Also, the utility vehicle used to commit the deed, whose value is about 30,000 lei, was raised and sealed at the Campulung Moldovenesc Municipal Police.
