SDS urged to go to the polls just before their closure
Since 2013 in legislative referendums, the additional rule is that the law has been rejected in the referendum if at least a fifth of the eligible voters vote, eight legislative referendums have been carried out, and only twice the rejection quorum has been achieved.
Opponents of legal solutions managed to bring a sufficient number of voters to the polls in 2015, when voters rejected the amendment to the Law on Marriage and Family Relations, and in 2021, when they rejected the amendment of the Water Act.
One of the highest in history was reached at the last, 46.5 percent of the eligible voters attended voting, and this law also enrolled in history as a vote on government support – then – Janezi Janša.
This time, however, the SDS tried to present the legislative referendum on the supplement to pensions for outstanding artistic achievements as opposition to the government. « The voice against the voice against the privileges and the Golob’s Aroganca, » points out the first face of the referendum Andrej HoivikSDS MP. Their President Janez Janša has repeatedly described this referendum as a test before the next parliamentary elections, and is supposed to show whether he is on the way to the next government with the associates participating in the campaign.
According to the latest data, at least 338,491 voters will have to reject the success of the referendum, with only 23,102 voters voting in early voting, or 1.36 percent of all eligible voters.
Compared to 2021, when we voted on the amendment of the Water Act and 84,196 voters voted early, this raised some fear in the opposition camp, but were encouraged by the result from 2015, when only 24,480 voters attended the vote.
So much more because it is in view of PLACE PEOPLE DESIGN QUALITIES expect to be the vast majority – out of at least 60 percent up – voted against the law, and the movement of freedom and the Left urged their supporters to boycott the referendum. Only the SD urged its supporters to go to the polls and support the law, as it would better regulate the method of awarding the allowance.
So how much turnout will be enough for the SDS success? Camp estimates are moving around 25 % so far. By 4 pm, it was 17.72 %, which caused some discomfort in all camps. She was commented uniformly that it would go tight. SDS champion Janez Janša, after all, recorded a call for voters to attend the vote.
