SDP in Zadar and we can go to the polls as ‘Vruljica coalition’
The SDP and political platform coalition will be able to go to May Local Local elections in Zadar called the Vruljica coalition, Sinisa Hajdas Doncic and coordinator Sandra Bencic announced on Wednesday.
The Vruljica coalition will jointly support the candidacy of SDP’s Daniel Radeta for Zadar Mayor, pointing out that they offer specific solutions for people living in the local community.
We have people who know what to do with the local community, and I invite everything, as I invite people in Osijek, Zagreb and Split, to hear what they offer Zadar, said Hajdas Doncic.
They offer righteousness and smart management of space because people and space must be protected. That’s why I believe in the Vruljica coalition and I believe he will win the elections in Zadar, he said.
When we talked about program priorities, we quickly agreed that the issue of urbanism was a key priority that we would put in a joint program, Bencic said.
« These local elections should be a prevailing that will allow the interest of all who live in cities to be more important than the interests of 10 or 15 investors. The interest of those who exclusively views the real estate business can be more important than if young families have the opportunity to buy an apartment, whether citizens have enough public and green spaces, » she emphasized.
Mayor Daniel Radeta’s candidate recalled that the Vruljica Park is an example of a problem in the urban tissue of the city and a symbol of the devastation of space in Zadar, which was confirmed by citizens in large numbers by protesting for the salvation of the park.
The SDP comes out of the local elections to bring solutions to spatial policies and other problems together, such as affordable housing, lack of green areas and high cost of life, he added.
