SCPC analyzes whether the persons against whom the misdemeanor procedures have been initiated have submitted property sheets
If it is found that some of the persons that the SCPC have been on the list that they have not submitted a poll, despite paying for the fine, a notification will be submitted to the competent authorities who will carry out further action, this was stated by the President of the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption Tatjana Dimitrovska in response to the 16th question.
President Dimitrovska pointed out that there is an analysis of whether the persons against whom the misdemeanor procedures have been initiated have submitted property sheets.
– True, we published a list for the first time since the existence of the Commission. An analysis of whether the persons against whom the misdemeanor procedures were initiated have submitted questionnaires- said Dimitrovska.
She noted that the law did not regulate it, and as an initiative came from the college of this composition of the Commission.
« Since there is the absence of regulating such a legal obligation, the initiative is not to allow, after paying offense orders or fines, to amnesty all selected and appointed persons from the obligation to report the property, » the SCPC’s chief said.
She responded affirmatively to the remark that the fines are in the amount that each of the former lawmakers and officials can afford even though they have not fulfilled the legal obligation, that noted:
– I agree all these remarks. We have established them during a one -year term. They also consist in the draft amendments to the Law on Prevention of Corruption and CONCERNED INTERESTS, which we expect to be adopted by the legislature soon- said Tatjana Dimitrovska, president of the SCPC.
The list of the SCPC at the end of February this year as information on fines – 2024 has 85 people, mainly MPs from the previous composition, ministers, mayors, board members, deans, public institution directors and other officials.
