Schools in Uppsala prepare to receive relatives
One of the victims attended an elementary school in Uppsala. The other student went to a high school.
« We are many who have known and taught the students in our various activities that are now affected by a great grief, » writes Education Director Susana Olsson Casas according to Upsala New Tidning.
On Friday, schools again receive pupils after leave during election celebrations and May 1st. Schools around Uppsala will have special student support and work security creation.
« In schools where students are particularly concerned, special support will exist, » the municipality writes on their website.
Several relatives To one of the victims, football in the club plays unique from the Valsätra area. The club has had contact with the municipality’s crisis support and will carry black mourning bands during this weekend’s football matches to honor the victims, says the association’s chairman Martin Andersson.
– It’s damn tragic everything. As a club, we feel that we want to support the relatives and generally stand up against the violence in society, he says and continues:
– The municipality will also have extra support around the schools where many of our children go.
Martin Andersson says that unique plays an important role in integration and crime prevention work.
– We have people from highly educated families who have been well placed, and so we are mixed with more socio -economic vulnerable areas in Gottsunda and Valsätra. That mix is important to us for long -term work.
