School on A+. Competition for schools
Thanks to the initiative, students will not only expand their ecological awareness, but also learn to implement real solutions that can positively affect our planet.
The students’ task is to prepare a team work on solutions that counteract carbon dioxide emissions and permanent particles into the atmosphere – taking into account the immediate environment of the school. Works can be done in any form – from traditional mockups, through descriptions and presentations, to multimedia projects, films or photojournalism.
The competition is addressed to students in grades 6-8 of primary schools from the Wrocław agglomeration, who participated in the first stage of the project: educational classes organized in cooperation with the Hydropolis Ecological Education Center. In the face of climate change, ecological education is becoming more important than ever before.
The deadline for sending competition entries is on May 26. Applications should be sent by post to the address of the Association (Solny Square 20, 50-063 Wrocław) or by e-mail ([email protected]).
The award for the authors of the best works will be educational workshops at the Wrocław University of Technology! During the classes, students will enter the world of modern technologies and ecological thinking about energy. They will see what « escaping heat » looks like, learn the operation of heat pumps and discover how renewable energy sources can supply our homes and schools.
