School nurse is freed from sexual abuse against pupils

It was in the fall of 2023 that the police received several reports that a school nurse at an elementary school in Hälsingland urged a group of boys to introduce a condomed dildo into their mouths and suck on it. The whole thing must have happened in connection with the school’s sexual education.

After a crisis meeting, the management decided to immediately turn off the school nurse from her work.

In police interviews, the woman has denied to That she would have asked someone to suck on the dildos. Her version has been that she wanted to show the boys how to wear a condom. According to the nurse, this must have happened after the nagging from the students. Then the lesson should have derailed and during the riot that followed, a student took dildos and stuffed it in the mouth, according to the nurse’s version of the course of events. The student should also have urged other children to suck on dildos.

In December last year, the school nurse was charged with four cases of sexual abuse against children and five cases of attempts at sexual abuse against children. When the trial began a few weeks ago the negotiation was held behind closed doors.

Now the Hälsingsland District Court announces that the woman is acquitted on all charges. This, in turn, means that all claims for damages are rejected.

In its judgment, the right to have the woman has long experience as a district nurse and has devoted herself to sex education for almost ten years. According to the judgment, her story has been credible.

According to the district court, the children and parents’ statements provide relatively strong support for the prosecution, but it is emphasized as a shortage that the children were heard in the introduction of the preliminary investigation before the school nurse was heard. Therefore, no questions have been asked to them based on what the woman stated. It is also pointed out that the defense has not had the opportunity to ask questions to the children.

Woman’s lawyer Karl-Gösta Myhrberg has driven the line that the children were affected by their parents and that their testimony cannot therefore be seen as credible. He has also argued that all information has been disseminated in social media, including TikTok.

The district court partly agrees with this and states that it is not possible to ignore the risk that the boys may have had contact with each other before the police interrogations and thus affected each other.

The court also emphasizes that the incident « caused some resurrection at the school and among the parents », which may have affected the boys’ stories at the police interrogations. The boys may also have had contact with each other through their phones, the district court says. Most police interviews took place just over a week after the incident occurred.

Against this background, the charge is dismissed against the school nurse.
