Scary attraction: Would you sleep hanging over a 90 -meter -high cliff? Some are already!

Located in the Mangshan National Forest Park, in Chenzhou in China, the Cliff Bed Experience project was launched with a somewhat paradoxical idea: to relax tourists and forgot the world around them, writes The New York Post.

Specifically, the verandi -like platform is located on the edge of the cliff and is presented as part of ‘Package to enjoy the outdoor activity of a small, picturesque place’.

It consists of wooden slats that make up the base of the bed, an air mattress for two people, a quilt and a pillow, and there is room for the disposal of a coffee or shoe mug or shoe. The viral recording shows a serene woman who stretches her hands as the camera ‘catches’ the panoramic alpine landscape in the background and only then realize that this ‘bed’ is located literally on the edge of the cliff.

A visit to the attraction costs only $ 13, and visitors who decide to take a break in this bed must be tied with a belt that is attached to the cliff. Although it is called a bed, accommodation at a large altitude is not intended for sleeping overnight, but with a brief relaxation and recording of selfies, of course – if you dare.

« It’s not as terrible as I expected, » said an adrenaline eager tourist, saying it took him about half an hour to relax, then photographs and share it on social networks.

Resting on the cliff may seem dangerous, but there are many protective measures that protect people from the ability to slip over the edge, including the seat belt. Only visitors between the ages of 14 and 60 have the opportunity to rest in this bed, with all people between the ages of 14 and 18 have to be accompanied by an adult. Attraction is also forbidden to people who weigh more than 100 kg or are lower than 128 cm.

Before the cable car brings them to Cliff Bed, the guests must fill out the form in which they are asked about the above details, as well as health. Upon arrival, they get a free coffee cup, although most do not need coffee to keep them awake in this bed.

Many seem to be ready to venture on this adventure without much fear, because from April 25, when Cliff Bed was open, he had already had more than 400 visitors.
