Saved a man from a flooded underpass: When I see that he needs to help, for me everything stops

The unhappy man is for The weather in Slavonski Brod stuck a car in a flooded underpass. Fortunately for him, Hrvoje Mužević, 48, came to him, who delivered food, and as soon as he realized what was happening came out of the car despite the fight and the rain that fell violently and helped man.

– I went to deliver food when I saw the car floating in the water below the underpass. Otherwise, this underpass is known for flooding as soon as it falls a little more rain and it often happens that people estimate that they can pass cars and get stuck. Considering that there was a storm outside and it was falling ice, I could barely see the window. At one point, I saw a man who ran into the flood – Mužević told us, who experienced a stroke a few months ago. He managed to recover and continued to help people. Because of its courage and humanity, this year’s winner of the Croatian Pride Award.

“I ran out of the carand the woman shouted, « Where are you going to? » The car floated up to half in the water, you don’t know who’s in the car or what’s going on. One could get married, a child, a woman, anyone. I couldn’t do otherwise than to enter the water. Meter and a half water safe. When I got to the car, the middle -aged man was sitting inside. As in shock. He did not respond to Nina I told him. I started pushing the car and saw two guys running help. They jumped into the water, every honor. The water level is raised quickly. In the end, about 10 of us pushed the man from the flood. He was still in shock. When we pulled it out, I went to finish the delivery I had – a modest Mužević told us to help with blood. According to the profession, a veterinary technician and a great animal lover, once crawling on a frozen Sava only to save two leaves. He tried to prevent the bookmaker’s robbery.

– I’m like that and I can’t help it. When I see that someone is in trouble, everything stops for me, it is only in my head that I have to go for help – says Hrvoje.
