Former member of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) and former appellate special judge Magdalena Lazarova, who is currently justice in the Sofia Court of Appeal, may become a deputy of Borislav Sarafov. On Wednesday, the Prosecutorial Board of the Supreme Judicial Council will discuss the issue and decide whether to accept the proposal of IF. Prosecutor General Sarafov, reported lex.bgS

A few days ago, Elena Karakasheva, who also worked as a judge before becoming a deputy prosecutor’s deputy, asked to be dismissed, and during the week the panel of judges would discuss whether to re -appoint her to her place she had previously administered.

Magdalena Lazarova graduated from Law at Southwestern University « Neofit Rilski ». According to her official business card, Lazarova began working in the judicial system in 1998 as a junior prosecutor at the RP-Blagoevgrad, then continued as a regular prosecutor. In the period 2003-2011 he was a prosecutor at the District Prosecutor’s Office in Blagoevgrad, and since 2011 he was an accuser of the Sofia Appellate Prosecutor’s Office, where he was also the deputy of the administrative head.

In 2012, she was elected a member of the Supreme Judicial Council by the quota of the National Assembly. After the end of his term in 2017, she was appointed a judge in the Specialized Criminal Court of Appeal, and after his closure he was re -appointed as a judge in the Sofia Court of Appeal, where he is currently.

Currently, Sarafov is with only one deputy – Vanya Stefanova.
