However, the Ministry of Health has set up such an order.

In this way, institutions can voluntarily register from April 15. So far, this is just an experiment, but it will depend on the results whether it can remain in that order.
« Our primary goal is to reduce queues in medical institutions, » assured M. Jakubauskienė.

One of the largest institutions, Santara Clinic, is preparing for such an experiment.

The head of Šiauliai Hospital supports such a model, saying that it will be better for both doctors and patients.
« My work experience has been in the country where it has been applied for many years – in Scandinavian countries, Sweden, the order is definitely non -discriminatory, » said Mindaugas Pauliukas, Director of the Republican Šiauliai Hospital.

According to the director of Šiauliai Hospital, social networks are greatly influenced by what the doctor chooses.
« We notice very often the names that appear on social networks, and automatically people are somehow choosing one or the other, » Pauliukas said.
« The choice to register with the doctor without choosing a specific name is more valid when the patient appeals for the first time and when that primary choice is not always important, » explained the Minister of Health Marija Jakubauskienė.

The Medical Movement also sees some drawbacks.
« There would be no competencies because there would be no effort to try.
