Sam Hallam: « Now it’s all about gathering »
Three Kronor’s dream about that World Cup gold at Hemmis in Stockholm ended during Saturday afternoon. In the semi -finals against a young, joyful and high -pressing United States, Sweden stood in large part for what is difficult to describe as anything other than a real flat match.
After the end of the second period, it was 0-4 on the jumbotron, and Tre Kronor was then bowed out by the rink. In the third period, partly an awakening came, but that was not enough.

– It is clear that it is tough, says Sweden’s national team captain Sam Hallam, who gives his picture of the loss match:
– I think our defensive details are not good enough, so the US gets some easy goals on us. Then we have a little trouble getting printed in our game from below.

Sam Hallam describes it as That Tre Kronor in the second period – then in the disadvantage – tried to build a little more speed in the game, after which they instead released a couple of game turns against them.

– We will of course look at our analysis. But you can do everything afterwards.

– We will certainly have a short collection with the team, and then it will be damn tough tonight. Then there is a new hockey match when we wake up tomorrow.
– Everyone knows that it is much more fun to win the last match than to lose it. It is a challenge. But it is up to all of us to take individual responsibility, and then do what we can for the whole team.

– I have no idea what the United States did yesterday. If you raise everyone who has something critical to say today – then we have to stand here for a long time, says Sam Hallam.
