A Luxembourg lives in the Roman focal area

For many pilgrims, the large Roman train station Termini is just a passage station on the way to the Vatican and the other sights of the eternal city. However, a Luxembourg has been living vis-A-vis of the train station for a decade and a half, which is also a social focus. Jean Paul Muller, born in Grevenmacher in 1957, put his life in the service of Salesian Don Boscos.

Since 2011 he has been at the headquarters in Rome General Economics of the Order, which is committed to commitment to disadvantaged children and adolescents. From the roof terrace of the building you can see the dome of the Santa Maria Maggiore pilgrimage church, where the Pope will find its last rest on Saturday. There, Muller gave the Luxembourg word an interview in which he describes the state of emergency of these days.

Nun shows grief and breaks the protocol

In the video, Muller also speaks about the 82-year-old nurse Sister Geneviève Jeanningros, who now gained awareness worldwide through her appearance in St. Peter’s Basilica. She was a close girlfriend of Pope Francis. When she said goodbye to the deceased Pope, she broke with the applicable protocol and cried almost half an hour before the Pontifex laid out in St. Peter’s Basilica.
