Sale Casa: At these locations you store with a fifty percent discount

The curators of CASA will have a sale in ten different locations in our country in the week of 14 April. Proceeds will be housed with the bankrupt Casa International NV, the curators will confirm on Monday. A takeover seems to be finally gone, although that is in line with expectations.

The inventory of all CASA products must have been a huge job in recent weeks. In various depots and dozens of buildings, hundreds of photos were taken of all kinds of stock. The entire stock then had to be cast in a so -called digital « data room ».

« There is, internationally, a great interest in that stock, » said one of the curators on Monday. « For example, there are large companies between them that do regularly. »

Because many products from CASA are seasonal, the curators decided to organize a sale. It will take place in the ten best -selling properties of Casa. An auction house (VH Auctions, ed.) Will guide the process.

Where and when can you go?

  • On Monday 14 and Tuesday, April 15 Is there a sale in Mechelen, Ostend and Bruges – each time of 10.00 am to 4 p.m..

Casa requested the bankruptcy in our country at the beginning of March. The company could no longer pay its debts. As a result, 63 stores, a distribution center and the head office in Olen, with an impact on 544 employees. In the meantime, the bankruptcy was also requested in France.

Casa is a originally Belgian chain, which ended up with the well -known Dutch entrepreneurial family Blokker in 1988. In April 2021, it sold the chain to the Amsterdam Investment Group Globitas. Today it is still 51 percent owner. The rest is in the hands of the Dutch entrepreneur Frank Pruijn. Earlier, the Swedish-Lebanese businessman Ayad Al-Saffar had stepped into Casa’s capital, but that only lasted a few months.
