Russians pass native cosmetics and printers
Russian citizens will move on to native cosmetics and imports from the so -called. « Friendly countries » after the Kremlin government excluded cosmetics from the list of goods whose imports from third countries circumvent Western sanctions.
After the war in Ukraine, Moscow adopted a list of goods that could be imported without the consent of their manufacturers and the holders of the author’s licenses. Thus, the prohibitions of export are circumvented, reaching the Russian market through re -export from a friendly country to the Kremlin, which are not subject to Western sanctions.
Sanctions do not stop it: Russia gets Western technology and through EU country
The government now has decided to remove HP and Fujitsu laptops from the list of these goods, laser printing devices of certain brands, as well as perfume and cosmetic products.
The Interfax Agency refers a message from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade that in addition to the two brands of laptops from the list, data processing devices have also been removed, as « Russian manufacturers offer similar goods in quantities sufficient to replace goods from hostile countries. »
The Kremlin’s new « friends » are not selfless
« The exclusion of these items from the list of parallel imports will not affect the range of goods presented in the internal market. In addition, such measures will increase the demand for local radio -electronic products, which in turn will contribute to the development of the local radio -electronic industry, » the ministry said.
Authorities explain the exclusion from the list of parallel imports of non -medicinal cosmetics with the growth of domestic production, which has already reached 68.1%, as well as with an increase in exports from friendly countries.
Several foreign brands of printing devices – printers and multifunction devices that combine the features of a printer, scanner and copier are excluded from the list of goods for parallel imports.
What is sold in Moscow malls after leaving Western brands
So far, Russia has imported 40% of its needed laser printers and scanners through imports from the so -called enemy countries. In this group are the countries imposing sanctions on Moscow because of the war. It includes the United States, Japan and all EU countries, including Bulgaria.
