Raising the awareness of the stakeholders in the determination and action for people’s safety during the summer season was the goal of today’s roundtable « Safe Balkan Tourism Summer 2025 » held in Skopje under the auspices of the International Police Organization in Macedonia.

KSOM General Secretary General Goce Delchev Todev at the press conference pointed out drivers to be careful about road signaling because, as he said, there are old signs on certain sections, and there are new rules for using those sections.

He emphasized the need for proper and responsible behavior of all citizens of Macedonia, as well as foreign travelers who will transit through the country during the summer tourist season.

He appealed to drivers who at high speeds transit on the territory across the country to be careful, because, as he added, our roads are not safe enough for their speeds.

At the roundtable security persons in the field of security, representatives of the Ministry of Interior, travel agencies and delegations from international trade union and police organizations, spoke about the dog rules and recommendations for safe traffic participation, as well as guidelines for proper and responsible behavior of all citizens of Macedonia, but also to our foreign country.

The roundtable is an important step in efforts to improve road safety and raise awareness of the importance of responsible traffic behavior.
