Romania. The army discovered fragments of the Russian drone
On Friday, February 28, the Romanian Ministry of Defense received a report that the wreck, similar to the drone, was found near the city of Galați, near the Ukrainian settlement of Reni and the southern border of Moldova.
The team of specialists arrived there on March 1 and confirmed that the wreck belonged to the Russian drone. The unexploded bomb was destroyed in the controlled explosion. At the same time, the authorities of Moldova recommended the residents to stay away from this place until the end of the inspection.

In the territory belonging to the EU and NATO Romania, which divides the 650-kilometer border with Ukraine, fragments of Russian drones have repeatedly decreased over the past year, when Moscow attacked Ukrainian port infrastructure.
A few days ago, the parliament in Bucharest adopted a law enabling the army to shoot down drones that violate the Romanian airspace; This will be possible based on the analysis of the level of danger and risk to human life and property.
Until now, the country has not had updated rules of conduct in the event of illegal violation of airspace in peace. According to the new law, the destruction of drones or manned aircraft is the last resort – emphasized the Ministry of Defense.
