Rokas: There is great potential for agriculture in the Municipality of Veles, and your products can be exported to the EU
In the area of the Municipality of Veles there is fertile soil for the production of agricultural products, and your products can be exported to European Union countries, said EU Ambassador Michalis Rokas, in response to a question of MIA, during today’s visit to the Municipality of Veles, adding that there are numerous mechanisms provided by the EU program.
EU Ambassador Rokas noted that as a European Union they want to fund agriculture in the country.

There are numerous funds that are part of the EU Joint Agriculture Policy. We as the EU strongly believe that agriculture can become part of your country’s agriculturalism. In the future, Veles and your country can not only visit historical purposes, but also because of the delicious agricultural products from your farms and wineries, and especially with agricultural organic products as healthy food- said Rockas.
He added that he strongly believes that the development of agricultural production will increase the country’s economic potential.
EU Ambassador Rokas has announced that this afternoon he will visit a winery in Veles funded by EU funds.
