Emma was only five years old, but she was already facing more challenges and difficulties than many adults throughout her life. His movement and hand functions are in need of development – but thanks to the complex rehabilitation care of the Bethesda Children’s Hospital and his new robot therapy center, he is now smiling at the therapeutic activities, the institute writes in a statement.

“Emma’s story is not unique. In Bethesda We provide many children every day as part of our complex rehabilitation activities that have central nervous system injury, severe traumatic or combustion. Since the start of the center in 2023, our robot therapy center has been helped with 8 lower and upper limb devices, and so far in nearly 660 treatments, 116 children in need so far. « Robot therapy is not an independent miracle cure, but a very effective complement to traditional physiotherapy and conductive therapy.
