Robert Prosinecki chocolate factory on the verge of collapse. He also closed the restaurant before …
What after their career, many football players wonder after hanging out digging on a wedge. There is capital, just needs to be invested wisely, and a large number of them invest money in real estate. Some also deal with catering, open cafes, restaurants, hotels, and some simply stay in football that gave them everything and take over some of the functions.

Robert Prosinecki does not buy garbage from his dog: he led the assistant
Legendary Croatian footballer Robert Prosinecki He made both. He has achieved a coaching career, has led many clubs and national teams, today he is on the bench of Montenegro, and has shown an entrepreneurial spirit after the end of his playing career. Still, some jobs did not come to life as he imagined.
A few years after hanging out diggers about a wedge, more precisely in March 2007, a former Croatian footballer decided to invest part of his football income into catering, a sector that often attracts former athletes. In the Zagreb village of Stara Peščenica, he opened the Lounge Bar and a pizzeria of a significant name – « Posikito ». The name is not accidental, it is a nickname that the Spanish printing assigned to him during his playing days at the Pyrenean Peninsula, evoking memories on time spent in La Liga. At the opening were Silvio Maric, Zvonimir Boban, Nikola Jurcevic and other famous names from sports and public life.
– We wanted the restaurant to be in an old -fashioned, rustic style. It was also important to us that only the place would be comfortable and I think we succeeded in that. I am very pleased with the result and I am glad that I can celebrate the opening with my friends – Prosinecki said at the time.
As he began to grind his coaching career as an assistant Slaven Bilic in the Croatian national team, the restaurant management was taken over by his brother Sven Daniel, but this catering story did not last long. In the meantime, the shop has changed several leases, and today it is run by Zoran Anđelić, who left the restaurant in the initial name, Prosikito, in honor of the legendary yellow.
Almost a decade later, at the end of February 2016, Prosinecki embarked on a new entrepreneurial challenge, this time closely related to sports, but in an innovative way. In partnership with another retired footballer, Janko Jankovic, was faced by Padel.hr, a modern closed complex with eight fields for a slope. Located in the Zagreb Fair, this center aimed to meet the Croatian audience with a down payment – a dynamic sport that combines elements of tennis and skvos, which globally recorded a significant increase in popularity.
The idea for this venture was born from their personal experiences. Specifically, both Prosinecki and Jankovic were introduced to the downhill during their professional football careers in Spain, where this sport was extremely widespread. Recognizing his potential, they decided to popularize him in Croatia, where he was relatively unknown at the time. The beginning was not easy; Attracting permanent users required time and effort. However, persistence has paid off. The Padel.hr center recorded significant growth over time, reaching a figure of an impressive 7,000 registered players. They have popularized this sport in Croatia and are doing great business today.
It was a phenomenal investment, but still the last, founding of the chocolate factory, brought him big debts. In December 2018, December founded the Steviq League company with a share capital of 2654 euros (20,000 kuna) and headquartered in Zagreb’s Nova Ves. As the only founder and director, he is listed. Steviq Life is known as a cocoa, chocolate and candy products company. It is advertised, as the media stated, as the first chocolate factory in Europe, which sweetens hot chocolate exclusively with a natural sweetener – Stevia. Still, the job did not come to life, the company is on the verge of collapse.
The Zagreb Commercial Court has recently opened a pre -entry over Steviq Life DOO and scheduled a hearing for testing so far reported claims of creditors of about 360,000 euros on July 1. The court decision for the pre -bankruptcy commissioner was appointed Loris Rak, and Prosinecki was called to submit a written statement to the financial agency (FINI) by the end of April of each reported claim, that is, whether he was challenged by II.
