The complete analysis of the State Market Inspectorate (SMI) to raise food prices will be completed next week, Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor, Marjan Risteski, who answered a journalist question in Stip, was already working on measures to reduce the prices of food products.

Risteski noted that this government, unlike some previous governments, always does good analysis before making a decision and measure, and as he said, this is how it will be this time.

-We follow the prices maximally through the State Market Inspectorate we do analysis and if we conclude that there is a need to make a decision and we will make it in the interest of the citizens to protect the standard of living. First of all, our citizens and their standard of living are interested in us as a government – said Risteski.

The Deputy Minister of Economy and Labor added that based on the ongoing analysis prepared by the SMI there is a slight increase in prices, most notably the coffee and oil, which are stock market products.

– Part of the prices of the products as it was before the decision, which was a month ago, has a slight increase in certain prices, there are some on the same level. But we have a greater increase in coffee and oil prices, which are stock market products and depend on world stock markets. However, however, the public will be informed of the public, if any, which will show the complete analysis, which will be completed next week – Risteski said.

Asked about military tensions in the Middle East, which are likely to reflect on the Energy Stock Exchange and whether the government has a plan to deal with a new energy blow, Risteski said the government was monitoring the situation worldwide.

-We send not only the situation of the internal economy, but we also send world events, as we come, so we will react as a government. We must be also ready and have information and have meetings of several ministries and the government. The situation is sent if the work, which would cause a tremor to the world economy, is normal, it is normal that the Government will react with appropriate measures – said Risteski.

He added that the government would not wait for the global economic crisis on the issue and because, as he said, « we must be ready, and we do it. »
