Right crushes Ap and Sp in moving out state jobs to the districts

For us who live and live in Finnmark, it is crucial that the whole country is given the opportunity to develop and that the state is also present outside the big cities. Therefore, it is with pleasure that I read the Nation’s review of how many state jobs have actually been moved out of Oslo in recent years. The figures are clear: The Right in Government delivered a significantly better result and more state jobs than the Labor Party and the Center Party have made clear throughout its reign.

In fact, the review shows that when the Ap/SP the government moved out and established 365 state positions outside Oslo during its four-year period, the Right managed during the first government period (2013-2017) to move and establish 811 state jobs in the districts. Looking at pure relocation of existing jobs, the Ap/SP government has moved 85 jobs, while the Right moved out close to four times as many during its first four years, namely 336, and another 385 in the second government period.

That is why I react when the Labor Party talks about moving state jobs from the center of Oslo to Groruddalen and Søndre Nordstrand is the solution. Although there may be a proper grip within Oslo, I believe that the ambitions for the districts must be far greater. Workplaces must get even further out, they must help strengthen the regions that need it, such as Finnmark.

The right has a clear vision for the districts. We want strong and viable communities where people have safe jobs and can live and live with their family. Høyre’s history shows that we deliver in the area, not just talk in big words. We will continue and prioritized the relocation of state jobs to the districts in the next parliamentary period as well. At the same time, ensure that in the few cases where new state workplaces must be created to make it possible for these to be independent.

No slogans. Only good district policy.
