Ribafish swims again! Soon the 2nd season of Rokpoluotoka begins
On Sunday, June 2, 2025, the second season of the inspirational and educational project of Rokpoluotok, the continuation of the extremely successful Rokotok action, launches. This time, a well -known Croatian food blogger, journalist and former professor of geography Domagoj Jakopovic Ribafish, together with his team, decided to fertilize the entire Istrian peninsula – with a clear goal: to connect children, parents and local communities in the spirit of concern for the environment, active life and healthy leisure time.

Start between Pula and Fažana
The project officially begins with swimming from Pula (seagulls of the rock) to Fažana early in the morning of June 22. The swimming section is about 8 kilometers long, and the expected arrival of the swimmer in Fazan is around 9 am. Exclusively professional swimmers swim with security accompaniment, while swimming with children is organized exclusively along the coast during the afternoon workshops and socializing.
First Socializing – Beach Children’s Playground, Fazana
Evening socializing with children and families will be held on the beach children’s playground in Fažana, starting at 6:00 pm. Children and adults expect a fun, educational and environmentally conscious program:
- Free ice cream for children (sponsor: Kaufland)
- Sinking thick fish in the shallows (an optional activity for those brave)
- Talk about ecology, nature and healthy life (required, but without boring lectures)
- The search for hidden treasure
- The action of cleaning the beach and the environment
- Division of educational gift bags
- Setting up and searching for geocaches
From Fažana to Umag, the Robpoluotočani will swim and socialize with local communities in 12 locations along the western coast of Istria. The project ends on July 16, 2025 in Umag, thus symbolically combining all the coastal points of the Istrian peninsula.

The project is more than swimming
Robpoluotok is not just a sports venture. It is an invitation to wake up, a reminder that children and adults need more time in nature, less for screens, and more quality joint socializing. The project has a strong educational and environmental component – promotes the cleaning of nature, learning through play and the importance of environmental preservation.
