The highest level of registered unemployment is in Ida-Virumaa, where it is 11.1 percent.
The head of the local department of the unemployment box office, the anneki teelahk, believes that the changes in the rules for paying benefits will benefit: “They will shake people and push them to search for work.”

As of May 15, 6849 unemployed were registered in Ida-Virumaa. This is 529 less than in the same period last year, Theelahk emphasizes.
