The new seat belt will premiere in the forthcoming purely Volvo ex60, in 2026. It was designed to better protect people, adapting to traffic conditions and to the person wearing, thanks to real -time data from the advanced car sensors.

OR New Multiple Adjustment Belt It can use data from internal and external sensors to personalize protection by adjusting its adjustment based on the condition and characteristics of the individual profile, such as height, weight, body shape and seat position. For example, a more bodily passenger in a severe collision will receive a higher load than regulation of the belt to reduce the risk of injury to his head.
By analogy, a passenger with smaller bodily dimensions in a milder conflict will receive a lower load than regulation of the belt to reduce the risk of fracture on its side.
