Rescue exam – Kommersant

Alena Boyko from the old Oskol of the Belgorod region has acute lymphoblastic leukemia, which was found during a banal physical examination last fall. Almost immediately, the girl began chemotherapy in the Belgorod hospital. However, the treatment did not give a result, the patient was sent to the metropolitan clinic. After several blocks of highly dosage chemistry in Moscow, the disease retreated. So that the leukemia does not return, Alena needs to carry out bone marrow transplantation. The parents and brother of the girl did not suit her. A non -inherent donor was found in the National Register of Donors of the Bone Coreste named after Vasya Perevshchikov. But the preparation of the donor, the bone marrow fence and the delivery of the transplant are expensive – the Boyko family does not have that kind of money.

Alena, together with her mother, is now in the capital’s hospital. May blooms on the street, but so far the girl is not up to the weather. It is necessary to prepare for bone marrow transplantation with which the disease can be defeated.

Alena got to the hospital in a dank November, almost six months ago. And she really missed house, relatives, friends, but stoically tolerates separation. The best friend regularly writes and supports, takes a lot of time classes in a special hospital school-Alena graduates the 9th grade. In addition to transplantation, the final exams in Russian and mathematics are also ahead of Alena – it is not clear what is more exciting.

“I already know what I have to,” says Alena. “Doctors explained how a healthy bone marrow transplant is going on.” This is something like another dropper, so I’m not so worried.

For the results of the exams, the girl also worries “not so much”: she understands that control tests are inevitable. However, here she knows the material. He studies at four and five – and in the hospital too.

“And I feel good – compared to how it was before,” says Alena.

The treatment was given to her very difficult. After each block of highly dosage chemistry – “consequences”: as the girl calls damage to the mucosa, which did not allow to swallow and speak, digestive disorder, and inflammation of the internal organs. After the next block, Alena was even sent to intensive care:

– It was so weak, albeit in the mind that the doctor made such a decision.

Alena hopes that staying in intensive care was in her life for the first and last time: this experience is not like any other. Around the hospital bed – squeaking equipment that does not allow to sleep, but there is nothing more to do – just look at the wall or ceiling. In intensive care, it is not even allowed to take books with you.

“I really love to read detectives in the hospital, they distract,” Alena says. “It was impossible to read in intensive care, so I dreamed, imagined how I would leave there.”

Alena also thought about the road home. Here they will let her out of the resuscitation chamber – and a dad will come out to meet, who will take them home with his mother in the car to Stary Oskol.

Dad calls his daughter daily, morning and evening. Sometimes, according to the video, the house of grandparents, the garden and the garden, where fruit trees and berry shrubs are already blooming with might and main. Alena lists what dad shows: pears, apple trees, cherries, raspberries, gooseberries, currants, strawberries and a favorite blueberry.

– And recently, dad showed a whole field of dandelions! – the girl rejoices.

She dreams of touching them with her hands – as soon as possible.

“When I leave the hospital, I will recover slowly,” Alena says that it will happen after transplantation. “Walk with friends whom I have not seen for a long time.” We will just go somewhere with them, breathe air.

There is another dream of Alena – to arrange an overnight stay with girlfriends after returning home. To chat elaboration, see a movie, listen to music:

– During the time that I spent in the hospital, so many new ones appeared in the world, so many things have happened!

Alena has lively and understandable dreams – dreams of meetings with close and dear people, about returning home. However, she has an important exam in front: bone marrow transplant. And her access to this saving test depends on you and me.

To save Alena, Boyko lacks 754 350 rubles.

Medical Director of the National Register of Donors of the Bone Coreste named after Vasya Perevshchikova Olga Gerov: “Given the diagnosis and severe course of the disease, Alena in life indications requires bone marrow transplantation from a non -born donor. The preparation of the donor, the bone marrow fence and the delivery of the transplant are organized by the national register of bone marrow named after Vasya Perevshchikov. ”

The cost of preparing a donor, bone marrow fence and transplant delivery – 1 053 350 rubles. LLC Institute of Source Code contributed 118 thousand rubles. LLC « OZAU » – 25 thousand rubles. The company that wished to remain unnamed is 123 thousand rubles. The viewers of the GTRK Belgorod will collect 33 thousand rubles. Not enough 754 350 rubles.
