« Reporters Without Borders » … Melodramic anthropocentric soapy

The media is a process conditioned by daily update, but also from the socio-historical context and global technological and economic development

Global freedom continued to deteriorate in 2023/2024, which is a trend that lasts for thirty years in a row, according to a recently released annual report of Reporters Without Borders.
« Global media freedoms have taken a big step back in 2023. The world has faced another key test in 2024, as billions of people have been voting, as well as most armed conflicts, including Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus and the Middle East. Most of the global population has been denied the basic freedoms of the year, but also in the years that follow, which will ultimately affect peace, prosperity and security, according to predictions.
And as the regular annual report on the freedom and freedom of the media appears, a topic that I follow in activity and professionalism and publish since the end of the nineties of the last century (column – writing first published in the Forum magazine), every year, as a rule, it is open to our case. There are some kinds of shirts, stunning, amazement from the fall of the ratings, this time for six places, and from the degree of confidence they generate, to quasi -final mildness and revealing hot water. All together leads to a superficial, lukewarm and amateur approach and absolutely ignorance of the theme and matter.
According to several consecutive reports by Freedom House and Reporters Without Borders for Transition States – which analyzes the situation in the media, they will note conditions of « weakening democracy to authoritarian aggression ». The infamous « Reporters Without Borders » and in this year’s report – after measuring and measuring media freedoms and freedoms, with « raised index finger » – ranks the Republic of Macedonia for six places below, with a similar general assessment as last year on a scale of one to seven, where one is the lowest level of democratic progress.
The former belief that things are true because they have appeared on television, in newspapers, more recently on social networks and tools, today is a 100 percent anachronism, or just a romantic chapter located somewhere in the introduction of a short and unbeaten media history. That strong dimension and justifiably the grown hope that they have imposed on us and instilled in our fragile information bodies, with genre diverse campaigns of strong visions and promises. All this has been turning and resembling melodramic anthropocentric soapy for the years.
The past is a lie, the present abundance of uncertainty, the future is offered a form of truth, everything within the birth of another sweet paradox, which with the power of intense media suggestion captivates us and order us according to the logic of the theater of the absurd, which we do not follow us without a privilege. The medalized reality, which is imposed on us and that daily attacks our senses, through intense daily information virtual sessions, in appearance genre diverse, have a hidden « lofty » goal. First to break the resistance, and then to narrow and suffocate the space of free will and turn us into non-existent, so they place us on the sidelines somewhere in the interim, where ideologies, policies, business interests are calculated.
Today, when everything is constantly changing and nothing is stable, nor static, our view is increasingly similar to unchanged mental territories, created as a result of wild liberalism and bad practice of the media, postulates theoretical discourse. On the other hand, from time to time, symptoms of public maturation are felt at times, which is converted to a zone where little reality is visible and cyber-dwarf and false prophets. In such virtual chaos everything is constantly moving and accelerating to a zero post of posture.
So we can certainly conclude that today the media no longer transmits information and truths. For the most part they are used as a powerful weapon for mental navigation and manipulation that places fractal forms of stolen semantic monsters, made evenly from information, entertainment, ideology, politics, cultural prejudices, interests of individuals and so on.
According to the imaginative global scenarios, you (artificial intelligence), the Internet and new advanced technologies will create conditions for the formation and rise of virtual interest groups and lobby, which will put strong pressure on politics and governments to the extent and in scope, which can be assumed that they will be in favor. Kafkian syndrome, where the consequences in an imaginative way precede the reasons, paralyzing the public to the point of self -censorship in the efforts of realization and real assessment.
The key question is how to demystify the media illusion we are drawn to, given the notorious fact that the world still exists. How to get rid of the political-media coalition, which is trying to establish a kind of empire, a heliocentric ontological system, according to which the meaning does not spin around us, the citizen’s readers, but we are in a Copernican chaotic spasm in trying to bring them closer.
And as for the regular report of Reporters Without Borders, for those who recently read it, nothing new. It is not a new epiphany or miracle, but only this year’s transcript, intersection, conclusion of our overall democratic, economic-political, educational, cultural, spiritual and mental development, which in conditions of global information connection this year is simple and easily performed.
