Narva again announced a competition for the post of director of the Rugodiv recreation center. The last time the competition was held a year ago, but then the candidate was not suitable for all the requirements of the candidate. Since then, the duties of the director of the recreation center have been performed by Elena Kavrus.

The new conditions of the competition look tougher than before. The requirement for an education was added not lower than the master’s. The initiator of the inclusion of this condition was the mayor of Narva Katri Raik.

“This is a major city institution, and in addition to the experience of the management, the director must have an appropriate level of education. I introduced this item with his own hand,” Raik said in a conversation with the journalist of the Narva newspaper.

In addition to the master’s degree, the candidate needs knowledge of the Estonian language into the highest category, that is, S-1, work experience in the field of culture for at least three years, experience in leading positions or relevant competencies, the advantage will be considered English.

Last year, the Rugodiv House is led by Elena Kavrus, she is the acting director. According to her, over the past year, Rugodiv has significantly expanded the calendar of events.

“The number of events has grown significantly – this is also visible according to our poster. In addition, regular events are also being held in our DC. For example, dance evenings are taking place in cooperation with the Estonian House, the theater studio is also currently operating at the House of Culture,” Kavrus noted.

On April 9, at 17.30, an open meeting will be held in Rugodiv, at which the future of the House of Culture will be discussed, the current leadership will present the developed plans. All citizens will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the work of the institution and share their own ideas.
