According to Jurgita Černeckienė, a scientist at Kaunas University of Technology, if the size and planned solutions of the building meet the needs of the residents, the house was maintained and the structures are solid – it is worth renovation.

« It is difficult to say what new construction houses have, what could not be achieved through the renovation of old apartment buildings, » said J. Černeckienė.
