« We started remembering a good friend who dropped out at the end of January this year. His name was Ásgeir Ingólfsson and was a cultural journalist and poet, » says Kristín.
« He was one of our most permanent patrons and we remembered him in various ways at the festival. One poem was read by him, which is unpublished, and we were selling two poetry books after him. The proceeds of it go to come out unpublished material after him, » she says.
At the same time, the first delivery of new prizes was given to the name Ásgeir and are dedicated to it. They were given the most loyal viewer, the one who attended the whole festival, « as he did ».
