The National Audiovisual Council (CNA) fined the post on Sunday Reality plus With 10,000 lei, on the grounds that he violated the legal foresight regarding the election campaign for the election of the President of Romania, by presenting the candidate George Simion at a church, after the vote was exercised.

The proposal was made by the former president of the Council, Monica Gubernat, after Mircea Toma, a member of the Council, proposed a fine of 50,000 lei.

« I will make a proposal of 50,000 for this violation that happens on the day of the vote and it seems to me a special severity. It is not a toy to make the Vote Day Explicit on a high -audience television station, which is not at the first violation and has a very consistent history of deviations in the same sense, » said Toma.

The proposal of 10,000 lei, which concerns the violation of Art. 10 of the CNA decision no. 86 of February 25, 2025 regarding the rules of conducting in the audiovisual of the election campaign for the election of the President of Romania in 2025, was voted unanimously by the members of the Council.

Art. 10 stipulates the following: « 24 hours before the start of voting and until the closing of the ballot boxes, the dissemination of any messages and comments with electoral content, of the electoral advertising shows and spots, as well as the invitation or presentation of the candidates and their representatives and of the political parties, the political alliances and the organizations, the alliances, nationals supporting candidates, except for the situations provided in art.

At the same meeting, the Council decided to issue decisions regarding the order to act against the illegal content for several audiovisual materials identified on different platforms, which violates provisions from legal provisions in the field.
