Reality bomb from Britain: 12 people come to the Croatian island, and the first sex is in front of the cameras!
British Channel 4 since Monday is starting to broadcast a new controversial reality show ‘Virgin Island’, in which 12 adults without sexual experience tries to lose innocence, in front of millions of viewers, he states The Guardian.
The show takes place on the Croatian island, where competitors are located in a specially decorated resort. There, through a two -week program, the famous sexologists will be led by them Danielle Harel and Celeste Hirschmanwith the help of a team of experts. The location is equipped with tents, rooms for therapy and dormitories.

Each of the participants carries with their own challenges when it comes to physical intimacy. During therapeutic activities, they explore these difficulties, and some methods include situations in which therapists get up and encourage participants to give them satisfaction, all for the purpose of opening and releasing sexual energy.
One of the tasks that competitors get is to write their sexual fantasy and then share it with the others reading aloud. The ultimate goal of the whole program is to experience sexual intercourse within two weeks.
– There’s a stigma around that. There are probably a lot of people who have the same problems as we do, I don’t think this is particularly uncommon today – says Ben. One of the participants of the show.
Although he initially hesitated to expose the public the fact that he was still a virgin, Ben still decided to participate in the show, believing that his story could help others. He states that he had no problem getting to know women, in the last ten years he was on fifty compounds, but he would withdraw every time the situation would approach physical intimacy.
– People think that if you didn’t have sex, you have to be a weirdo or a mizogini incel. The true technical meaning is ‘forced celibacy’, but it doesn’t help either, they still classify you among them – Ben explains.
He decided to participate when he realized that he probably needed professional help. During the individual session with an expert on the show, he was able to make physical contact for the first time without discomfort, kiss and touch her.
– I’m more confident in myself. I realized that I was emotionally self -sustained and that, if I was rejected, I thought I was ugly, repulsive and that no one could be interested in me. The show managed to suppress it, ”he explained.
Therapists Celeste Hirschman and Danielle Harelwhich have been developing their unique work method for 15 years, pointing out that their main goal is to help people reconnect with their own body.
– It is about helping them feel more connected to what is inside, to be more comfortable with all the experiences they have in their body. We are on the phones and in our heads. We became very disembodied. Enjoyment, sex, desire and excitement – all these things come from the body – emphasizes Harel.
