Reading the Gospel changed my life!

The Archbishop of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania, Joan Palushi was today invited to Episode 13 Season 4 of Podcasti « Talk ». An extraordinary conversation.

Edi Rama: We have very old acquaintances and we have talked about these topics by walking the evenings on the Myslym Shyri Street until after midnight, there was talk of the 80s, and we were not even thought to be in the free world and we would be free to practice religion.

You had a very simple ringing sentence that I would become a priest. In fact it happened but why I brought it here is that we never had the opportunity to speak with the same freedom, where did that security come from?

Joan Archbishop: I come from a very large and non -Christian family, at that time no faith was practiced. It was not conversion.

When I first read the Gospel, in the 4th year of the gymnasium something deep inside me happened. My childhood joy returned again. At that moment my life changed. I was lucky enough to get to know people who had access to such books. The conviction of becoming a priest was born then.
