Re -interpelled by the interior minister: his insistence is harmful

After two days of coordination, NSi and Democrats have filed an interpellation against the interior minister Boštjan Poklukar. For the second time in this term, he is accused of abuse of office, unknown work, violation of workers’ rights and abandonment of obligatory management.

« The Minister of the Interior deserves re -interpellation, as in any key area of ​​ensuring the security of the matter have not improved, » comments Anze Logar, Democrats President. « The insistence of Boštjan Poklukar at the function of the Minister of the Interior is harmful to Slovenia, which was also clearly shown in this interpellation, » said the first signed underneath and NSi Members Janez Cigler King.

In the explanation, they made several high -profile examples in which Poklukar found himself and who are still not fully explained, namely how it is that the owner of the Kobarid restaurant is thank you – a warm wave Aleš thanks, who was supposed to resale the Philippine workers to another employer, he knew that he was in a police investigation. According to TV Slovenia, the suspect is a close relative of the head of the cabinet of the Minister of the Interior. The ministry was aware of the police investigation, moreover, in the middle of the investigation, the minister and the Director General of Police were taken to the suspect of white goods trade for lunch. The links or possible draining of information, according to Democrats and NSi, has not been properly refuted so far.

Among the allegations, however, was again a bad situation at the Center for Security and Protection (CVZ), where the situation is still not rehabilitated or even sharpened by reorganization. The renovation envisages the abolition of all existing jobs, and police officers will have to apply for new places, so unions are wondering if they will be charged with the management of unspoken staff.

According to the union, the introduction of a strict two -shift work, which causes frequent illogical replacements of security guards even while performing tasks in the field – threatens continuity and security efficiency. That is why the President of the Republic Nataša Pirc Musar decided that after a reorganization, he wanted his own security team.

They also added a complaint about the deteriorated security situation to the interpellation, but allegations that it is inappropriately addressed by the police deficit in the police and that it insists on irregularities in ordering helicopters for the implementation of helicopter emergency medical care.

Since NSi and Democrats have enough signatures to file an interpellation themselves, they did not even ask for the support of the SDS. Certainly, Poklukar cannot count on their support. Finally, with the allegations that his selection for the Director General of Police did not meet all the prescribed conditions, they also abstained in the coalition SD and the Left. He spent his function with the voices of his movement of freedom. « I will again reject the allegations stated in the interpellation in the discussion in the National Assembly, » Poklukar responded.
