Razma in the final finals in the Gulbene Cup reveals youth leader Laumanis, women again win Kirilov / Day

The Gulbene Cup entered the April monthly rating competition, bringing together the leading Latvian darts thrower, except for the winner of the PDC « Nordic & Baltic » in Sweden and Walter Melder, the leader of the PDC Pro tour rating.

For men in the final, as in the Saldus Cup a month ago, adult champion Madars Razma and the winner of the youth championship gold medalist Ralph Laumanis, with a very exciting duel for dart throwing enthusiasts.

If Razma was relatively easy to the finals, Laumanis, despite the « dry » 6-0 victory in the semi-finals against Richard Vosuli-Griguli, was a thorough test for the youth champion Robert Bullko, who took the lead with a 3: 1. Laumani then showed the class, but Bullko knew how to equalize 4: 4 and 5: 5, leading the game to the decisive 11th, in which Laumanis, a member of the 2024 World Youth Finals, was unstoppable.

The start of the finals did not indicate an exciting fight, as after 1: 1, Razma won the next five legs, two of them with average points a hundred or more, and with a 6: 1 one legs from victory. However, Laumanis did not intend to allow the finals to end, taking four legs in a row and breaking the deficit to a minimum of 5: 6. The Twelfth Legs turned out to be the last, as Razma, a world championship player, was superior to the finals and revolutionizing the loss in Saldus in early March. Despite the loss in the final, Laumanis has become the leader of the rating, ahead of Aigars Strele, who was two points in the first place so far, who lost to Emil Gulbis in the eighth final with a 4: 6 in the eighth final. Razma, who missed several tournaments in the spring and autumn last year, ranks 3rd with 109 points.

The first semi -final of Division B champion Uģis Karasevs must be reached in Division A and the 3rd place. The second in the semi-finals, Vosulis-Grigulis, returned to the top three since November, when Bellevue also shared third place in the Latvian Cup.

In Division B, Kristaps said in the finals from 0: 3 and finally beat Jānis Pāvliņš by 5: 4. We told the eighth final, where they were 0: 2 and 2: 3 against « Brother » Brown, but in the end managed to « chatter » and win by 4: 3.

The women also had an equivalent final, where Anda Viksna, the winner of the Dobele Cup, and Amanda Kirilova, who finished first in the Tukums Cup. First, U18/U23 champion Kirilova took the lead with a 3-0 lead, but then the rating leader Viksna prevailed in the next three legs and equalized the score 3: 3, showing the highest quality final with an average of 62 points and finishing the LEG with the 24th. The last two legs were taken by Kirilova, winning by 5: 3 and being unmatched for the second consecutive rating tournament.

Unlike men, the semi -finals were very similar as they ended with a score of 4: 3. With this minimal lead, the Viksna Dobele Cup final again beat the national championship bronze medalist Maria Ruzhan, who is third in the last three rating tournaments. The second semi -final was no less tension as the two leaders of the youth group competed. Although the European Youth Cup third place winner Marta Roga with a 3: 2 lead with 3: 2, Kirilova was a bit more accurate in the last two legs, leaving the opponent on the double five and finishing the leg with 30th.

On Sunday, a pair competition took place. In the men’s final, Wosul-Grigulis, with Djacuk, defeated Oscar Kuzman/Ritvar Neupakoyev with a convincing 4: 1, but in two winning legs, which ended with 25th and 28th, were also very close to success. By the way, Kuzman and Neupakoyev showed the best accuracy of the finals in the only win, completing the Leg with the 17th, which was the only legs in the decisive round, completed faster than 20 darts. Third place for Janis Pāvuliņš/Rihards Klints and Andis Ločmelis/Andris Mednis.

Brikmane-Buklvoska and Anderson celebrated the victory with an even more convincing result, but 4: 0 not suggest that they easily crossed Mary Ruzhane and the nine-time Latvian champion Zeltīte Strade, who finished the active darts, was very similar, especially the second and third. Eve, with Sandy, was able to showcase the legs in the legs. Brikmane-Buklovsky and Anderson showed better performance in the semi-finals, where he beat Rogu-daughter Marta and Mom Sanita by 4-0, who, like Diana Grabchika and Helena Glegl, who defeated Ruzhane and Strade in the semi-finals with 0: 4.
