A two -year contract with Ravinski, starting the 2025/2026 season, said Patrick Olvin, General Manager of Canucks.

« Ravinsky is a player our club carefully watched this season in Finland and the World Hockey Championship in Sweden, » said Olvin.

« We like his height and body structure, and we hope to help him develop his skills and get used to the North American professional game, » says Olvin.

22 -year -old Ravinsky has spent two professional players in the Finnish Hockey Hockey League club Hemenlinn HPK and Ketter’s team in Mestis, which is the second division of force in Finland.

He started the season on the Ketter team, scoring 21 (8+13) in 23 games and earning ten penalty minutes, while in 27 games in HPK – 17 (8+9) points and 14 penalty minutes.

He also participated in three playoffs in the HPK without scoring.

In 68 games, the attacker has scored 51 (22 +29) in the Ketter team, 38 penalty minutes and +/- +13. In 16 playoffs, he has accumulated 10 (7 +3) points in Ketter’s ranks, eight penalty minutes and +/- score +7, winning the silver medal.

Before playing in Finland, Ravinsky played in Quebec Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), scoring 54 (29+25) points and 39 penalty minutes in 98 games. In ten playoffs, he scored four (1+3) scoring points and six penalty minutes on the Bleinville-Boabrian Armada team.

Ravinsky, who has made his debut in the Latvian adult team this year, has represented his country at the World U-18 and U-20 Championships, the 2021 U-18 Championship is named for his team’s top three players.

The Canucks won 38 wins in 82 games last season in the NHL Main Event and finished in tenth place in the Western Conference and not entering the Stanley Cup.

The season is likely to start the attacker at the Canucks Farm Club, the American Hockey League (AHL) unit EBotsford’s Canucks.
