Ramsey Bajrami elected President of the Mapas Expert Council
The Assembly, within today’s work on the agenda of the 48th session with 60 votes in favor and 21 against, names Ramsey Bajrami as President of the Experts’ Council of the Fully Funded Pension Insurance Agency (MAPAS). He replaces Maksud Ali who was dismissed with 58 votes in favor and 18 against.
MP Jovanka Trenchevska of SDSM said in her address that the fate of 600,000 people who should receive a pension in the next period should be put in the hands of Ramsey Bajrami, who does not meet the requirements.
– Someone without expertise and without knowledge should decide their fate. A person who is an expert in the field of pension insurance with work experience of at least five years in the field of pension insurance or in the field of finance may be elected as a member of the Council. The candidate nominated in September 2021 and does not meet the basic requirement for five years of work experience – said Trenchevska.
