Railway incident caused by drugged employees
The railway incident in Mărășești after which six people arrived at the hospital on Monday morning, would have been caused by two employees under the influence of psychoactive substances, informed the County Police Inspectorate (IPJ) Vrancea.
‘Following the on -site research and testing with the equipment equipped, two CFR employees were detected positively in the consumption of psychoactive substances. They were led to the hospital, for the collection of biological evidence, « said IPJ Vrancea.
On Monday, six travelers from the Regio 5302 train, which was traveling on the Comănești – Buzău route, were transported to the hospital after, in the Mărășești train station, during the locomotive coupling maneuvers with the passenger wagons, the locomotive gave back and hit the first wagon. At the time of the incident, there were about 120 travelers on the train.
On the spot were mobilized a SMURD ambulance, an extinguishing vehicle, SVSU Mărășești crews and three ambulances of the County Ambulance Service.
The investigations are continued, within the criminal case for not fulfilling the duties of service or their defective culp, the destruction or false signaling and the bodily injury.
