The minister added that he had requested the resignation of the Director of the Ministry of the Interior-Haskovo not because the regional directorate and employees did not do their job, but because of the version of the director a few days ago, that there was no evidence of abduction or crime against the murdered girl. Mitov called his thesis « unmistrated », with which he misled both him and society.
