Putin met Dodik in Moscow
President of the Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik met with Russian President Vladimir Putin today in Moscow.
– I just had a meeting with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. This is our 26th meeting-Dodik wrote on the social network X, where she also released a video of Putin’s meeting.
He added that Russia is a very important country for RS, within the UN Security Council, stressing that Russia has always been objective.
« Russia is the guarantor of the Dayton Peace Agreement and Putin said at the meeting. He added that within that framework Russia would end up finally interrupting the work of international institutions, especially the false senior official, that is, as he says, the illegitimate official, » Dodik said.
He also said that « Putin knows the details and the overall situation that is happening in our country », adding that the Russian president is « interested in something that asks the common man here. They were interested in the details, what we do and how we do it, » Dodik concluded.
The Kremlin’s official website announced that the meeting between Putin and Dodik was also attended by Russian President Yuri Ushakov, Minister of Science and Technological Development and Higher Education of RS Zeljko Budimir and the head of the RS representative office in Russia Dusko Perovic.
The BiH court on March 27 asked Interpol to issue a red arrest warrant for Dodik and RS Parliament Speaker Nenad Stevandic on suspicion of committing a crime of « attacking BiH’s constitutional order ».
Such a request was sent after both left Bosnia and Herzegovina, avoiding legally prescribed procedures for border control, followed by a central arrest warrant in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
