Putin announces the « Easter Peace » / Day

Skepticism of Putin’s announcement was expressed by Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky, while Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiha urged the international community to maintain vigilance.

Although Ukraine has not yet announced a ceasefire and it is not known whether it has been coordinated with Ukraine, Putin has already begun to talk about possible « violations ».

The reaction to the « Easter ceasefire » will show how true Kiev’s ability and the desire to participate in « peace talks », Putin added.

Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council’s Disinformation Center, in response to Putin’s « Easter ceasefire », asked why the ceasefire would last only 30 hours and no unconditional, as previously encouraged by international partners.
