Pulled dog after the car during holiday chaos

A holiday trip to offer mountain air and pleasant experiences evolved in a few seconds into a nightmare for a Danish couple on their way through Switzerland.

An unfortunate combination of hustle and bustle, inattention and a long dog leash was close to costing the family’s dog, Lola, life. That’s what Janni Ree writes on his Instagram.

After arriving in the country, shopping had to be shopped before the doors closed. On the go, the owner got out of the car, but in the riot Lolas Line was caught in the car door. When the car was started and started driving, the string was still stuck and the dog was pulled.

« I scream stop stop. My whole body stiffens and I reach thinking that now I lose Lola, » says the owner who witnessed the dramatic moment.

Only when her cries penetrated the driver did the driver stop the car and the shock occurred with both of them.

The four -legged passenger escaped miraculously without bone fracture, but the damage to the paws was not to be mistaken. The pads were ripped up and the blood tracks revealed the painful course.

A quick trip to the local animal hospital was needed where Lola got cleaned and connected her wounds. Fortunately, she was conscious and able to walk, but the episode has left deep traces, not least with her owners.

« So be careful with long dog leash, it can go terribly wrong, » reads the thoughtful reminder. For even in a busy day or on a holiday in the Alps, a single moment’s inattention can have serious consequences.

Although Lola escaped with the horror and bandages about the paws, the experience is a reminder of how fast things can go wrong and how little it takes.
