Published an autopsy of Gene Hackman and his wife’s autopsy

Official autopsy findings were published two months after the legendary actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa found dead in his home in Santa Feu, New Mexico. Gene Hackman passed away from the effects of severe atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease, with the history of congestive heart failure and significant chronic changes in the kidneys. The autopsy also showed the presence of neurodegenerative changes that correspond to Alzheimer’s disease, and the microscopic brain findings indicated the advanced phase of that disease, states Fox News.

Hackman had a built-in-a-ventricular pacemaker since April 2019, as well as coronary stents, a intersection and an earlier replacement of the aortic vacuum. Traces of old heart attacks on the left ventricular wall and septum were also found, further deteriorating his health.

A toxicological finding has shown elevated acetone levels in the blood (5.3 mg/dl, while normal up to 0.3 mg/dl), which is associated with prolonged starvation or diabetic ketoacidosis. Hackman was tested negatively on the hantavirus, and there were no signs of carbon monoxide poisoning or external injuries.

Betsy Arakawa died a few days before her husband, and the official cause of death is Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS), a rare and deadly disease transmitted by rodents, most often through feces, urine or saliva. Hantavirus initially causes symptoms of similar flu, such as fever, muscle pain and cough pain, and can quickly progress to lung and heart failure.

According to findings, Arakawa searched the symptoms related to Covid-19 and Flu in recent days, and in an e-mail to her massageka, she stated that Hackman had symptoms similar to colds and flu and made a covid test.

The bodies were found by workers on February 26 after the couple did not answer for days. Both bodies showed signs of retrieved postmortal degradation, including facial inflations and extremity mumification.

There were no signs of violence or external injuries, and police immediately launched a criminal investigation for the unusual circumstances and the state of the bodies found. Still, there was no evidence of gas, poisoning or violence.
