Public transport that day is free
During the events, traffic will be restricted in the central part of the city and public transport will run free of charge throughout the day.

Traffic restrictions and free public transport
From March 10th. 21 p.m. by March 11th. 2pm Standing for Gynėjų str. part from A. Tumėno str. to Gedimino Ave.
March 11th. 9-14 p.m. The traffic of vehicles in Gedimino Ave. will be prohibited. part from A. Goštautas to J. Tumas-Vaižganto St., as well as Gyudėjų str. part from Gedimino Ave. to A. Tumėno str.
From 5:30 p.m. till 9 p.m. T. Vrublevsky, Šventaragio and Barbora Radvilaitės str. to Maironio str.
On March 11, the Day of Restoration of Lithuania's Independence, public transport will carry passengers for free.
Public transport will run on Saturday's schedules on Tuesday, March 11, and travel to the Cathedral Square concert, « Only Free Growers » will be more convenient due to more frequent 2, 7, 17 trolleybuses and 1g, 53 bus routes.
March 11th. From 5:20 p.m. till 9 p.m. The route routes of 10, 11, 33 and 89 will change and temporary schedules of power. More information can be found here.
Lithuanian Independence Day commemoration events in Vilnius
9 am There will be a flower placement ceremony at the March 11 monument « News » in Independence Square.
10-17 p.m. – events dedicated to the Day of Restoration of Independence of Lithuania at the Seimas Visitor Center (Gedimino Ave 60): Creative Workshop for Children, Demonstration of Video Materials, Knowledge Quiz.
11 am In Vilnius Town Hall, the students of the capital will be solemnly presented to the Little St. Christopher Tags Awards.
12-12.40 p.m. The flags of the three Baltic States will take place in Independence Square. It will be broadcast live on LRT.
12-18 p.m. Open hours will invite visitors to the State Cognitive Center (entrance from Totorių g. 28).
12.40 p.m. The parade of the Lithuanian Armed Forces Honor Guard Company and the three Baltic Armed Forces orchestras and the « Restoration of Independence » with Lithuanian and Ukrainian flag bands will begin on Gediminas Avenue from Independence Square to Cathedral Square. Live broadcast via LRT.
The traditional gait will be greeted by the orchestras along the way: the Lithuanian Police Representative Brass Orchestra – Lukiškės Square, Pabrade Fanfario Orchestra – Samogitian Square, Vilnius Bronius Jonušas Music School Wind Orchestra – Vincas Kudirka Square.
12.40-17 p.m. – Open hours in the Seimas I Palace, Lithuanian Freedom Defenders and Stained Glass Galleries, where art collectives will take place, children's workshops, demonstration of short documentaries, exhibition exhibition.
At 1 p.m. – St. Mass at the Vilnius Cathedral Basilica. Live broadcast via LRT.
2pm A joint concert of Lithuanian, Estonian and Latvian military orchestras will be performed in the Cathedral Square, where the Lithuanian Armed Forces Orchestra (leader Kapelmeister mjr. E. Ališauskas), Estonian Army Orchestra (leader and chief conductor S. Jalakas) and Latvian National Guard Orchestra on topics, fun dance music, marches and polkas.
3 p.m. The festive free March 11 tours of the Old Town of Vilnius will begin at the bell tower of Vilnius. Electronic registration for 41 tour in eight languages will begin on March 7. 11 am
6:30 p.m. The 35th anniversary of the restoration of Lithuania's independence will be invited to celebrate freedom and independence, « Only Free Growth » in the Cathedral Square. The event will be broadcast live on LRT.
