Public salaries, in April he jumps (again) the cut to the tax wedge: that’s why why
In the April pay slips of public employees there will be the allowances on the contractual holiday, but for a technical problem they continue to delay the calculation of the tax discount
Nothing to do for 3 million public employees: not even in the April paycheck they will find the effects of the cutting of the tax wedge revised by the last budget law. The note released on April 7 by NoiPathe platform of the Ministry of Economy that manages public salaries, to announce the news on the new envelope does not mention it. Failure to credit for public employees amounts to 333.32 euros (i.e. 88.33 euros per month from the beginning of the year). The disappointment is partially mitigated by another item that will be present in the coupon: the contractual holiday allowance, with special issuing, moreover, the arrears of the administration allowance for the staff of the ministries.
The problem is technical. From the MEF they let them know that «the times of adaptation of the systems (of NoiPa, editor’s note) are also dictated by the need to make the upgrade requested by the National Cybersicacy Agency ». The technicians are at work « to be able to apply the benefit in the shortest possible time », but when it arrives in the paychecks it is difficult to say.
The contractual allowance
As regards the contractual holiday allowance (IVC) relating to the three-year period 2025-2027, it is a remuneration increase, introduced by Legislative Decree n. 165/2001which is paid to public employees in the period between the expiry of a national collective work agreement (CCNL) and the application of the renewal. The amounts of the IVC 2025-2027 were determined by the Budget Law 2025, which established monthly increases-with reference to tabular salaries-to the following extent:
* 0.6% from 1 April to 30 June 2025;
* 1% from 1 July 2025.
The amount of the contractual holiday allowance will therefore be the same for the months of April, May and June; Starting from July, the IVC amount will be 1% of the tabular salary.
Administration allowance
For non -managerial staff of the central functions area, in essence the employees of the ministries, NoiPa will provide the remuneration increases relating to the administration allowance, in implementation of the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of 27 December 2024 who has redetermined the measures with the aim of harmonizing the amounts between the central public bodies.
