Psychologist Team prepared Tibor Kapu to slide the journey
We had to wait forty -five years to get excited again for a Hungarian spacecraft. The big day was originally planned on June 8, but was postponed several times due to weather and technical problems. Tibor Kapu, according to the original schedule of the mission, can watch our « outside » planet for two weeks.
If at the original time, ie May 29, astronomuts were to be in full swing, but In the case – we learned dr. Orsolya Ferencz, Ministerial Commissioner for Space Research, head of the Hunor Program, who welcomed Blikk in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Affairs to answer our questions.
– Didn’t Tibu Kapu wear the unexpected postponement?
– No, because they were prepared for that. Tibi is over a large and long training program, and is a serious psychological team. Of course, he was looking forward to the moment of the launch, just like the whole country.

– What will be your job in space?
– In ten different disciplines, he conducts nearly thirty scientific experiments on board the International Space Station (ISS) during the two weeks, while Gyula Cserényi reserve astronaut, dr. Klaudia Vivien Nagy – the first Hungarian space doctor, accredited by the European Space Agency, and many others from the team will communicate regularly.
– How does Tibor Kapu’s space travel differ from Bertalan Farkas?
– Ma spaceships are very much their research area is diverse. It is also worth noting that Bertalan Farkas was on board the Saljut-6 for a week, with Tibor Kapu staying at the International Space Station for two weeks. By the way, our first astronaut also took part in the Hunor program, regularly met the candidates and, of course, the two astronauts selected, Tibor Kapu, and the reserve Gyula Cserényi, who drew a lot of strength from these conversations. He shared everything about his experiences in space, including the physical trials he had underwent his space travel.

– Do you look at the sky differently as a space expert? Didn’t you feel like a brief extraterrestrial trip, just like some entrepreneurial people do this?
– Since my childhood, I have looked at the sky, the stars, the infinity that my father has always explained to me with patience. The huge scale caught me and I wondered how huge the world is, and how small we are and how fragile our planet is. When I look up to the sky, I feel humility. I desire space in Spirit to experience what I have read so much, but I think I wouldn’t bear the trial, burden on preparing and space travel.
– Not only in space exploration but also in the world of politics, we regularly see it in political programs. How does scientific work reconcile with political act?
– I brought both home, as my father is an engineer and a space researcher who was involved in public life. I was born into a family where we regularly politicized and I was increasingly interested in politics. As a young adult, the change of regime came when I became more active. Sometimes it is difficult to politicize with my scientific work. I try to avoid cutting up with my partners and always try to base my position on the facts.
– Will you be there at the upbringing?
– I plan to do so.
