Prosecutors retired by Iohannis, re -entered by Bolojan
Four prosecutors retired by decrees signed by former President Klaus Iohannis return to the judiciary. Interim President Ilie Bolojan signed today:
- Decree regarding the recapture in the position of prosecutor of Mrs. Popa Gabriela at the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bucharest Court of Appeal;
- Decree regarding the recapture of the prosecutor of Mrs. Sotelecan Andreea-Doina at the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Turda Court;
- Decree regarding the re -establishment in the position of prosecutor of Mrs. Borda Lucia at the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Reghin Court;
- Decree regarding the recapture in the position of prosecutor of Mrs. Crețu Coca-Marina at the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Tulcea Tribunal.
Gabriela Popa retired in November 2023
Gabriela Popa came to the press’s attention after QIn February 2018, during a court hearing at the High Court of Cassation and Justice, he tried to hand to Judge ICCJ Marius Fitos a yellow envelope that contained documents to which the defense did not have access-documents, most likely, coming from SRI. Fortunately, Foitos refused the envelope (click here to read). She retired in November 2023 from DNA Central (with PICCJ).
Andreea-Doina Sotelecan has been retired in March 2023

Coca-Marina Cretu – retired in July 2024, as the boss for Tulcea
Mrs. Creţu Coca-Marina, prosecutor within the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Tulcea Tribunal, delegated to the position of first prosecutor at this parquet unit, is released from office as a result of retirement.
