Prosecutor’s Office Conducts Asmir Sakhoski’s proposal, which is suspected of investigating fuel oil for TPP Negotino, to abolish the previously imposed detention in exchange for a real estate guarantee of € 978,000, with an additional bank guarantee worth € 1.16 million authority and temporary seizure of a road or other document.

Fours reports that the Public Prosecutor of the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for the Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption – BPPO GOCK has submitted an opinion on the proposal to abolish the detention of a proposal with a proposal, filed by the suspect for committing a crime – « money laundering ».

– In the opinion, the public prosecutor noted that the suspect’s proposal to abolish the detention measure and replace it with a real estate guarantee with an estimated value of 60,672 235 denars, could only be established if the suspect, at the same time, on a separate court account, to additionally deposit 72,000,000. In the present case, according to the evidence available to the prosecution, the amount of 72,000,000 denars corresponds to the total amount of illegally acquired property benefits for this suspect from which the possible damages could be collected in the proceedings.

The public prosecutor also urged the court to impose precautions for the suspect to leave the residence or residence, obligation to occasionally call a particular official or a competent state authority and temporary seizure of a road or other document to cross the state border. At the same time, the prosecutor also took into account the case files, as well as the fact that the prosecution, meanwhile, provided most of the material and verbal evidence, which significantly reduced the risk that he could hide, falsify or destroy the traces of the crime or impede the criminal proceedings.

In accordance with the opinion, only by determining all of the above measures, the prosecution will consider that the conditions for abolishing the previously imposed detention are fulfilled.

The Criminal Chamber of the Skopje Basic Criminal Court, acting on an appeal at the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for the Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption, on March 14 this year ruled that the house arrest measure for Asmir Sakhoski in connection with the investigation into the supply of crude oil for TPP Negotino, and was remanded for 30 days.
